How can I track my order?

Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email with your tracking information. You can also sign into your account to check the status of your order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Shipping times may vary, but most people will receive their orders within a week of ordering!

IMMYLabs is open Monday - Friday. Orders placed after 2 pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or during holidays will be processed the following business day.

My product arrive damaged - what do I do?

The Oral Balance Test

Do I need a healthcare provider or dentist to interpret the results?

Our results are designed to be easy to understand, with clear insights and simple home-care recommendations you can start using right away. That said, every mouth is unique, so we do encourage you to share your results with your dentist or healthcare provider. They can help you create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your oral microbiome and overall health.

How long do I have to send the sample back, and how quickly will I receive results?

Because our samples don’t use preservatives, we need to receive them at the lab within 14 days of collection. Once your sample arrives, our team gets to work right away. You’ll typically receive your results within about 2 weeks from the time you send your sample back, and we’ll notify you as soon as they’re ready.

Now that I have my results, what are the next steps?

After reviewing your results, the best next step is to use the insights to guide meaningful improvements in your oral wellness routine. We encourage you to take action by enhancing your at-home oral care, monitoring your progress over time, and working with your healthcare provider to develop a personalized oral care plan that fits your needs.

It is the responsibility of the person who was tested to arrange with their health care provider for consultation and interpretation of test results.

Your results are a starting point—partnering with a professional ensures you receive guidance that is tailored, accurate, and aligned with your broader health goals.

What happens to my sample after testing, and do you keep my DNA?

Our test looks only at the bacterial DNA in your sample—not your human DNA. Once your sample is analyzed for those specific bacteria, it isn’t stored or used for anything else. Your personal DNA is never collected, saved, or examined in any way.

OraPath testing is conducted by IMMYLabs, which retains protected health information and bacterial DNA results in compliance with applicable regulations.

What if I have difficulty producing enough saliva for my sample?

If you’re having trouble producing enough saliva, a little stimulation can make the process easier. Try gently massaging your salivary glands using light pressure along your cheeks and under your jaw. Sweep your fingers forward toward your mouth for one to two minutes—this simple technique can help encourage saliva flow for a smoother collection.

What should I do to prepare before collecting my saliva sample?

Our test uses a simple straight saliva sample—no preservatives or additives—so you get a clean, accurate look at your oral bacteria. The best part? You can collect your sample anytime. There are no special steps to take beforehand and nothing you need to avoid. Eating, drinking, brushing, or smoking won’t impact your results, making the process quick, easy, and stress-free.

What if I don't send my sample back in time?

Be sure to end your sample back as soon as possible once collected! Your sample is stable and testable as long as it is received at the lab within 2 weeks.

Ora-Protek Probiotics

Can children use this product?

Yes!  Ora-Protek was developed with the whole family in mind and is a perfect addition to your child's daily oral hygiene routine. 

The recommended dose for children 4–12 years of age is one lozenge daily.  Adults and children 12+ years of age should take one lozenge, twice daily.

How long do I need to take it before I notice a difference?

Everyone’s mouth is a little different, so results can vary—but consistency is key! People typically start noticing a difference within 6–8 weeks of daily use. Stick with it and give your oral microbiome time to flourish—you’ll be glad you did!

I'm already taking a gut probiotic, do I need an oral probiotic?

Great question! Gut probiotics and oral probiotics actually support different areas of your body. While your gut probiotic works on digestive health, Ora-Protek is specifically formulated to nourish the beneficial bacteria in your mouth—the ones that help keep your teeth, gums, and breath feeling their best. Using both can help support a more complete microbiome routine.

What is the shelf life and how should I store Ora-Protek?

Fresh is Best!  Use Ora-Protek within 30 days of opening for best results and optimal freshness.

Ora-Protek should be kept in a dry, room temperature location, and the cap should be securely replaced after each use. Avoid storing it in areas where moisture can build up, such as the bathroom or refrigerator. Placing the lozenges in a pillbox can also increase moisture exposure and is not recommended.

When should I take my probiotic?

You can take Ora-Protek anytime! Morning, noon, or night—whatever works for you. But for the best (and easiest!) results, we recommend taking it after brushing your teeth and making Ora-Protek part of your daily oral hygiene routine.
